My Little Ally and Friends is a show celebrating difference, big vs small, quiet vs loud, fluffy vs scaly which we believe can generate big laughs whilst at the same time subtly tackling important issues.
- Adoption will be represented with authenticity and positivity. We have sought advice from Adoption Counts, a local agency and Dionne Draper, a writer and performer, with a personal and passionate take on adoption
- Ally’s adventures will promote kindness, understanding and community spirit, encouraging a healthy and happy mind set in children and boosting their self-esteem.
- Ally’s adventures will promote kindness, understanding and community spirit, encouraging a healthy and happy mind set in children and boosting their self-esteem.
- Ally’s differences represent a perfect child friendly depiction of diversity.
- Ally’s friends are unfamiliar with prejudice but may make honest observations such as… “Why don’t you look like your parents?” “Why is your nose so long?” “Why are your teeth so big?” they are genuinely interested rather than being hurtful.
- Ally’s differences often end up being advantages, helping to solve problems or make playtime more fun.
